Terms of Purchase

These terms of purchase apply to purchases of API services from Nordalster AB (559279-8002), hereafter "staik", via api.staik.se. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Seller

2. The Service

staik provides an OpenAI-compatible LLM API running on dedicated GPU hardware in Sweden. The service includes:

  • Access to the API with your chosen model and token limit according to your plan
  • All data processing takes place on servers in Sweden — no prompts or responses leave the country
  • Dashboard to monitor usage and manage your subscription

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT. Payment is processed via Stripe.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Extra tokens are purchased as one-time payments and are valid for 1 year
  • Current prices are always displayed at api.staik.se
  • staik reserves the right to change prices with 30 days' notice
  • Purchased token packages are non-refundable — unused tokens that expire do not entitle a refund

4. Right of Withdrawal

Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the agreement was entered into. If you have started using the service (made API calls) during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal may be limited to the extent the service has already been delivered.

  • Contact customercare@staik.se to exercise your right of withdrawal
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days via the same payment method
  • For purchased token packages: by completing the purchase you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal expires once tokens are made available in your account

5. Availability

staik strives for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance — we provide advance notice when possible
  • Unforeseen technical issues or force majeure
  • Hardware or model upgrades

6. Limitation of Liability

staik is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the most recent month.

  • API responses are generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies — the user is responsible for verifying results
  • staik is not liable for how API responses are used in the customer's applications

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Via your Dashboard at api.staik.se
  • Via Stripe's customer portal
  • By contacting customercare@staik.se

Upon cancellation, you retain access to the service until the end of the paid period. No refund is issued for remaining days in the current period.

8. Changes to Terms

staik may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Stockholm District Court. As a consumer, you may also refer disputes to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
